MySQL service changes

MySQL legacy services USMGEN1P and USMGEN2P will be shutdown on January 31, 2018 at 5:00pm.  If you would like us to move your database to the new MySQL service prior to this date, please contact ptsadmin@uvic.ca.

All databases will be automatically moved to the newer, more secure service on January 31, 2018 immediately following the shutdown, with services anticipated being restored by 8:00pm.  Database owners may need to update configuration details to ensure their database functions correctly on the new service and can contact ptsadmin@uvic.ca for configuration details.
