Improved access to services from “UVic” wireless network

Students, faculty, and staff with a valid NetLink ID can now connect to the UVic wireless network and access:

Prior to this change, these services were only accessible from a wired Internet connection on campus or through a VPN connection. Instructions to connect to the UVic wireless network from Windows, Mac, iOS and Android can be found on the University Systems website.


Devices connected to the UVicOpen or eduroam wireless networks cannot access the services noted above without also establishing a VPN connection.
