Maintenance on Student Email Server / Central Web Servers

This Sunday morning, August 15, 2010, between 12:00 AM and 9:00 AM, maintenance will be performed on the Student Email server and Central Web Hosting server.  During this time, the following services will be unavailable:

  • The Student Email system
  • Email for those faculty and staff who have not moved to the Exchange Email system
  • Departmental web sites hosted on the Central Web Hosting service

This maintenance period will be used to replace the server with a system with increased capacity and better performance that should prevent the slowdowns that affected these services last term.
