SharePoint is UVic's legacy service that provides a central storage and collaboration space for on-campus groups that can be customized to contain document libraries, meeting spaces, blogs, wikis, knowledge bases, test tracking, and more.

How do I request or access this service?
New sites in SharePoint sites are no longer available. You may request a Connect site by completing the site request form.

What is the cost for this service?
This service is provided free of charge.
When is this service available?
This service is currently available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Once all SharePoint sites have been migrated over to Connect (SharePoint 2013), this service will be decommissioned.
How do I get help with this service?
Departments still using SharePoint can obtain assistance at the regularly scheduled Connect drop-in sessions, which are held on Wednesdays from 10:00-11:00 am in LIB-034j.
