Meet Sarah Santiago

About

Sarah is part of the Student Wellness Team with responsibility for student's health and counselling registration and appointments. She also makes sure that the front and back offices are well maintained and managed.

In her previous role with U.S. doctors, she served as a Healthcare Virtual Assistant of the clinic's patient charts and caregiver’s onboarding process for five years. Sarah was responsible for the medical clinic's efficiency and doctor's time-saving administrative tasks.

Before joining the virtual clinic in the U.S. in November 2017, Sarah served as a Data Management Analyst for a multinational company in July 2015, where she handled the electronic health records’ databases to all the healthcare facilities in the U.S. for two years.

Sarah also worked for four years in Dubai, U.A.E. in December 2011 for a Medical Equipment Company. Working in a diverse environment also gave her the opportunity to understand people culturally.

Sarah is a current business admin student at UVic, holds a bachelor's degree in nursing and is a registered nurse from the University of Perpetual Help in the Philippines.

During her spare time, she loves organizing things at home. She is a certified cookie monster, scented soy wax candle collector, and perfume fan of any kind.
