My name is Lauren, my pronouns are she/her. I am lucky to be part of the team at the Student Wellness Centre.

I am a registered nurse from Vancouver who is a Métis citizen with Plains Cree and French settler background. I live and work on the unceded lands of the lək̓ʷəŋən, Songhees, Esquimalt, and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples. I previously specialized in cardiac acute care, and am excited to expand my skills to empower students in all areas of wellness.

I am passionate about mental health, sexual health and public health. It is a priority for my patients to have respect and autonomy when receiving care; I want everyone to feel comfortable and safe in our clinic.

In my free time I enjoy powerlifting, dungeons and dragons, podcasts, and spoiling my rescue cat.
