Sean Hier is a Professor in the Department of Sociology.

Sean Hier studies moral panics and social problems. He uses a social constructionist perspective (in the sociology of knowledge sense of the term) to investigate a broader range of theoretical and empirical issues.

Professor Hier teaches in the area of theory, social problems and moral regulation/control.
