Neena Chappell spoke on CBC 'On the Coast' speaks about aging

(June 3, 2016) - Neena Chappell (Sociology / Institute of Aging & Lifelong Health) talked to Stephen Quinn, host of CBC Radio's "On the Coast," yesterday on what she calls the "paradox of aging"—a body of research suggesting that as we age our physical health declines but in measures of quality of life (happiness, life satisfaction and subjective wellbeing) older adults do as well as, or better than, younger adults. She was in Vancouver speaking on the same subject as part of the UVic-hosted Walrus Talks Quality of Life. CBC (skip to 41:16)
