Mateer wins award from International Neuropsychological Society

March 25, 2014 - Dr. Catherine (Katy) Mateer, associate vice-president, academic planning, has won a 2014 Distinguished Career Award from the International Neuropsychological Society. Mateer, whose home department is psychology, is well known internationally for her work in the clinical assessment and management of cognitive and emotional difficulties following neurological injury. She has authored three books on neuropsychological intervention and more than 100 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on a wide range of topics in clinical neuropsychology. She has also mentored more than 30 students, many of whom are now making substantial contributions within the neuropsychology field.
