Faculty of Social Sciences honours and remebers residential school Survivors

September 30, 2014 - Tuesday September 30 is Orange Shirt Day.  This day is designed to acknowledge the 150,000 school aged First Nations, Inuit and Metis children who were forcibly removed from their familes and land in order for them to attend residential schools from 1860-1996. The Faculty of Social Sciences honours and remembers these children, the Survivors and their families.
