Aerin Jacob (Postdoctoral Fellow) was interviewed by The Tyee for its coverage of the September 23 election debate on science and technology at UVic. As the event's lead organizer, Aerin said she hoped the evening's topic would lead to some concrete answers from the parties, as it is an area that is usually overlooked in political debates.  Maclean's also posted an online story about the debate, focusing on discussions around GMO labelling.
