New: BSc in Anthropology

New BSc Anthropology Major Program

The Department of Anthropology is excited to announce our new BSc Anthropology Major program, the first of its kind in British Columbia. This program enables students to combine their interests in the Natural and Social sciences to pursue their BSc with a focus on Biological Anthropology or Archaeological Science, while still benefitting from a broad training in the multiple sub-fields of Anthropology. Such training may be particularly beneficial for students looking to pursue career paths in the health sciences, human skeletal biology, paleoanthropology, forensic anthropology, archaeology, conservation, and cultural heritage and resource management, among others. The BSc may also be taken with the Honours program, and includes a co-operative education (co-op) option.

If you have questions about the new BSc, please contact the Undergraduate Advisor, Dr. Erin McGuire at
