Ancient BC Indigenous settlement to become outdoor history classroom (Vancouver - Toronto Star)

The Ye’yumnuts village near Duncan has become a living Indigenous history lesson where the local school district will use the 2.4-hectare meadow as a place-based classroom, thanks in large part to the efforts of Brian Thom and alumna Dianne Hinkley. The Canadian Press story was picked up widely across Canada—including in the CTV News, National Post, Vancouver Sun, The Province, Huffington Post, Times Colonist and North Shore News—and featured a selection of photos taken by CP at the site with Thom and Hinkley earlier this month.
