Back-to-school programming

Back-to-school programming

August 16 - 31, 2021

Back-to-school programming will bring together the entire UVic community to prepare for the start of classes and will help you kick-off your UVic experience in a good way. The two-week long program will offer you opportunities to:

  • Meet other students and participate in social activities
  • Participate in workshops related to academics, wellness and social justice
  • Learn about campus resources and supports that can help you succeed
  • Connect with the UVic community

While back-to-school programming is for all UVic students, some events will only be open to certain audiences. All events will be virtual.

Back-to-school programming is an initiative run by the Office of Student Life, in partnership with International Student Services.

Schedule

The full schedule of Back-to-school programming events can be found on our new student engagement platform, UVic Engage. You must sign in to the platform with your netlink ID and password to view available events. If this is the first time you are signing into Engage, you will be asked to take 30-seconds to complete your profile first.

Using the Engage platform, you can view all available events, filter events by category, RSVP to events of interest and find the Zoom links for all events.

Some workshops will be recorded; check event descriptions for details. Recorded workshops will be posted on this page 24-48 hours after the event is over.
