Exercise is medicine. The FitConnect program encourages students experiencing symptoms of mild depression or anxiety to exercise. Students are referred to the program by a UVic health professional. Students then meet the FitConnect program coordinator who will help them make a fitness plan and get them paired up with a peer volunteer who will join them in their fitness plan.
