The Health and Wellness Center

The HAWC offers health and wellness workshops, activities, and a variety of drop-in programs to meet your needs. Our students, campus partners, and community partners run great programs that addressed a wide range of student health and wellness needs. The Meditation Club offers a free meditation drop-in program, and the UVic Yoga Club offers multiple yoga drop-in classes each week. Both of these provide you great options to unwind, improve your well-being, and find some balance – in multiple senses of the word. Other programs in the HAWC include: QVic which provides a safer space for queer and questioning students and their allies and Jam Night where students can enjoy playing, learning, and listening to instruments, and more!

The Academic Resource Center

The ARC offers a number of workshops, drop-ins, and other programs to support your academic success at UVic! Studying Science? Check out SciHelps, an upper-year science student is available to facilitate first-year science study groups and connect you with the resources you need to succeed in science. The Math & Stats Assistance Centre in Residence offers help from TAs for 100 and 200 level Math courses.

We're setting sail for academic success: See you in the ARC!
