International research:

In addition to working on several theoretical books on the changing spatiotemporal forms of political life in the context of globalization/ localization, I am currently involved in two large European Union funded projects on the changing relationship between liberty and security.

International activities:

I also have substantial research connections with Keele University in the U.K., Science-Po in Paris, the University of Tromso in Norway, the Centre for the Study of Developing Societies in Delhi and the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro.
