Estimating under- and over-reporting of drinking in national surveys of alcohol consumption: New paper published in Addiction

A new CARBC-led paper in the journal Addiction looks at patterns of under- and over-reporting of alcohol consumption in national surveys across four countries.

The study authors, which include CARBC's Tim Stockwell and Jinhui Zhao, explain how under-reporting of alcohol consumption by less frequent drinkers can be estimated within poplulation groups, and describe a method that can be used to correct for this under-reporting.
