Incoming Scholarship Opportunities

The Crossing Borders Program, developed by the Centre for Asia Pacific Initiatives (CAPI) is part of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Scholarships (QES) program. CAPI is offering $11,750 CAD scholarships for incoming graduate level students from Commonwealth countries (other than Canada) completing graduate level degrees at UVic. Scholarships cover one year of study from September to April. Preference will be given to applicants from the Asia-Pacific, or with a research focused on the Asia-Pacific.

Incoming scholarship applicants are expected to have already been admitted to their graduate level programs at UVic. Scholars will work closely with the academic community at CAPI, engage extensively in our existing research environment, and contribute to the growing Canada-wide community of QE scholars.
