The CBR Trainee Group was started in November 2012 and has 100+ undergraduate and graduate students involved who are all doing or interested in biomedical research.

Throughout the year many events are held by this group showcasing the student biomedical research happening on campus.

The  provides a forum for discussion and interaction between trainees in biomedical research at UVic and beyond.

Ask for advice on experiments or problems that might be just outside your field, look to recruit undergraduate volunteers or be recruited as a new trainee, share interesting research articles, search for shared resources, or just simply interact with other like-minded researchers.

Trainee exectuve

The CBR Trainee Executive has at least one representative from each department involved in CBR. The executive team are the key organizers and recruiters for all trainee events.
