NTCO AGM Week and Project Launch

On December 14-15, 2017 the first NTCO (New Technologies for Canadian Observatories) AGM and project launch was held at UVic. This event was open to all NTCO students, team members, and the UVic community, and featured guest speakers, including some of our industrial partners. Students presented posters on their current research and their internship experiences working in industry. During the week leading up to the AGM, NTCO provided professional skills training workshops for students (see below).

This special morning session is sponsored by the Astronomy Research Centre (ARC) at UVic and is open to all ARC members as well as other interested members of the UVic community. It will feature presentations from our observatory partners, and will include practical information for job applicants in the field of astronomy.
