As parent or family member, you play an important role in your student's success at university. The first year of university can be an incredible period of transition, growth and opportunity for students. Our goal during this time is to ensure that both you and your student are prepared to successfully navigate this transition, and are fully aware of the support programs and services that we have available.

Parents and family members can be an important source of support for students as they transition to university.  Watch last year's parent and family focused webinar as we share what to expect during the transition (for both your student and yourself!), introduce you to the wide variety of resources available at UVic, and answer any remaining questions you might have.
