Campus is closed, Tuesday, Feb. 4

Due to challenging weather conditions and disrupted transportation in the region, the UVic campus will be closed Tuesday, Feb. 4.

During a campus closure, academic and administrative functions that are available remotely will continue. The closure only applies to those activities that must occur on the physical campus.

The Cove dining facility will be open today 7:30 a.m. - 8 p.m. All other food services outlets and Mystic Market are closed. Residence Services front desk will be open 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. today.

Please stay safe! If you need to travel or be on campus: plan ahead, allow extra time, wear appropriate clothing and footwear and be prepared for snowy and icy conditions.

We are actively monitoring weather conditions to determine when it is safe to reopen campus. UVic crews are working to clear roadways, paths and parking lots in order of priority.
