As a Subject Librarian, I work with faculty and students in Physics & Astronomy, Biology & Forest Biology, Earth & Ocean Sciences, and Anthropology.
Subject specific Library Guides direct students and researchers to print/online books and journal articles, and other Library services, to support their discipline specific research and coursework: Forest Biology Biology Physics & Astronomy Earth & Ocean Sciences Anthropology
Subject specific Library Workshops are developed in consultation with Faculty and tailored to support classroom assignments and research. Students and researchers are invited to arrange in-office Reference Consultations to learn more about Libraries print/online journal and book collections specific to their research and learning.
As a Science Research Data Librarian, I work with UVic researchers interested in creating Research Data Managemen Plans and potentially archiving scientific research data in a Research Data Repository. Research Data Management Subject Guide.
As the Research & Development Librarian, I work towards implementing and enhancing Library specific software applications to support the libraries mission to provide effective and efficient access to online/print resources in support of research, teaching and learning.
