Amanda Jardine
 – Non-fiction winner for “Queer Soup

Amanda was born and raised in PEI, completed her undergrad in English Lit in Fredericton, and is now a UVic master's student studying creative nonfiction. She has many creative accomplishments under her belt, including radio, poetry, and stage writing. She is currently working on a creative nonfiction memoir about her experience as a same-sex sex columnist in a Maritime town.

Yukari Tanji
 – Poetry winner for “My Name is Yukari

Yukari was born in Japan and recently finished her women’s studies degree as an international student at UVic. She has enjoyed writing poems and short stories since second grade when she started her first journal.
