4th year Writing student, Ellery Lamm, has been awarded best student animation at the 2015 Montreal’s World Film Festival.

Outcome: Published in the  Electronic Journal of Foreign Language Teaching. It reports the results of an experiment that was carried out as part of Erin’s 2013 JCURA.

Outcome: Paper published in Earth and Plantary Science Letters (a very respected journal, IF 4.7). L. Kavenagh and C. Goldblatt, Using raindrops to constrain past atmospheric density, Earth Plan. Sci. Lett., 413, 51-58, doi:10.1016/j.epsl.2014.12.032, 2015.
Lucas also presented at the 2013 AGU Fall meeting, where he won an “outstanding student paper award” for his presentation.

Jacqueline Maria Warren, Department of Mathematics & Statistics / Supervisor: Dr. Gary MacGillivray
Outcome: Paper “Utilitas Mathematica”.

2011-2012 JCURA Recipients

Connor Gaston
, Department of Writing / Supervisor: Prof. Maureen Bradley
Outcome: Completed a short film, BARDO LIGHT. It was screened at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in September 2012. TIFF is one of the top three film festivals in the world.

Regan Schrumm, Department of History in Art / Supervisor: Dr. Evanthia Baboula
Outcome: An exhibit "Windows into Heaven".
