Office of Global Engagement
Office: JCC B218

My role is to help the university establish strong partnerships with institutions and organizations around the globe. It is our mission to position and support the University of Victoria, one of Canada’s leading research universities, to connect with a diverse network of outstanding partners that align with the University’s strategic priorities. My team and I work to facilitate these partnerships towards success by encouraging dynamic, multi-layered engagement between institutions. This involves bringing information and opportunities related to current or prospective partners to the UVic community; representing the University among international education organizations and membership associations; working across the university with faculty and staff to foster partner engagement; liaising with colleagues abroad to maintain and strengthen UVic’s global presence.

I am a UVic Alumni. My experience in the field of international education began at the University of Victoria in 2002 and continued at Camosun College, The University of British Columbia and Glenlyon Norfolk School before returning to UVic in 2020. I have had the opportunity to represent BC institutions in approximately 50 countries and serve in the areas of international admissions, student services, recruitment, marketing, study abroad, international relations and global partnerships.
