Human dimensions of climate change

Climate change is happening all around us and is recognized by scientists, citizens and leaders around the world as one of the most pressing issues of our time. Understanding our impacts on the natural environment is critical to our welfare and that of all living things.

Solving the problems caused by climate change requires diverse knowledges, including those from the human and social sciences, including its political, psychological, economic, geographic, sociological, legal, anthropological and philosophical dimensions.
