Students can add an international experience to their UVic studies. We offer exchanges, field schools and co-op work terms around the world. We provide funding opportunities for both outbound and inbound students.

If you're an international student seeking entry to a UVic degree program, visit undergraduate or graduate admissions. We offer useful resources and advice for international students coming to UVic.

We also support short-term students such as visiting research students and visiting, exchange and study abroad students.

International travel safety

UVic has an established Off-Campus Activity Risk Management Policy. This policy supports procedures to ensure that travellers are prepared for and safe throughout their trip abroad. We have partnered with International SOS (ISOS) to offer emergency medical, safety and security advice, referrals and emotional support when travelling.
