Op-ed: Japanese Canadians deserve justice from B.C.

Historian Jordan Stanger-Ross wrote an opinion piece in The Globe and Mail about a landmark in Canadian history. On Sept. 22, 1988, Prime Minister Brian Mulroney delivered Canada's first political apology for past wrongdoing. Stanger-Ross points out that we should also recognize Japanese Canadians' current campaign to redress the past harms in BC after the mass displacement and dispossession of Japanese Canadians in the 1940s.
