Dr. Fielding defended his PhD. thesis at the University of Victoria in 2018. He also teaches at Camosun College.

Dr. Fielding's dissertation, Sporting Multiculturalism: Toronto's Postwar European Immigrants, Gender, Diaspora, and the Grassroots Making of Canadian Diversity, won the Canadian Historical Association's 2019 Bullen Prize for the Outstanding Ph.D. Thesis on a Historical Topic in Canada. Read it here.

He can be found laughing with his spouse and two great kids, playing music, watching hockey, and drinking strong espresso.
