Movie Night! Join us on Friday, 7 September and learn about GRS at UVic.

Join us for a fun and relaxing evening and learn about Greek and Roman Studies at UVic.

Grab a slice of pizza and chat with GRS Faculty and students about the topics and research that inspire them in Greek and Roman Studies!

Learn about on-going excavations in Eleon, Greece; an archaeological project unearthing ancient Roman artefacts in Ilduro, Spain; mapping out geographical locations of ancient Greek myths; discuss Greek and Latin poetry and literature; discover Greece and Rome in modern popular culture; decipher Greek and Latin epigraphy; or debate ancient politics and economics.  And of course, learn or practice your ancient Greek and Latin skills with lively discussions (maybe!).

Relax with new friends afterward with a screening of "Gladiator."
