New Resource: A Short Guide to Increasing Course, Class and Workspace Inclusiveness and Relevance

The School of Public Administration’s Decolonization and Indigenization Committee is pleased to share a new resource—A Short Guide to Increasing Course, Class and Workspace Inclusiveness and Relevance.

There are many excellent resources for students, staff, faculty and administrators to guide them through the technical process of Indigenizing and decolonizing curricula and making programs and courses relevant and meaningful to Indigenous and non-Indigenous students alike.

This short guide poses and provides resources, encouraging readers along the journey toward increasing course accessibility and relevance.  Reconciliation includes Indigenization because it involves creating a new relationship between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people. This short guide is framed around the principles of Humility, Honour, Honesty and Heart.
