CANSEE2021 abstract submission deadline extended to February 1!

The Canadian Society for Ecological Economics (CANSEE2021) has extended an abstract submission deadline for the upcoming national conference “Pathways for Inclusive and Sustainable Recoveries.” Academics, practitioners, and policy-makers are welcome to submit their presentation proposals here by February 1, 2021. The conference is being led by SPA’s faculty member, Dr. Katya Rhodes, and her Graduate Assistant and current PhD student, Bronwyn Dunbar.

CANSEE is a chapter of the International Society for Ecological Economics (ISEE) publishing a high-impact peer-reviewed journal, Ecological Economics. The upcoming national conference brings together various actors and stakeholders to inform workable, effective, and inclusive public policy solutions that address the systematic vulnerabilities in our current economic systems exposed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Given the complexity of these solutions, the conference encourages presenters to discuss transformative policies that address social and ecological issues and inequalities across regions and between generations.
