Congratulations to recent PhD Nursing Graduate Dr. Jillian Harding

The School of Nursing is pleased to offer congratulations to Dr. Jillian Harding on the recent convocation of her PhD. Co-supervised by Dr. Esther Sangster-Gormley Dr. Gweneth Doane, Dr. Harding's research explored Indigenous peoples’ experiences of culturally safe health care. Her research focused on illuminating the aspects of cultural safety that have been recognized as significant by Indigenous peoples. The important insights and knowledge from her research informed the development of a mneumonic that can guide health care providers as they seek to provide culturally safe, relationally relevant health care.
