On behalf of donors, the Faculty of Graduate Studies administers a number of graduate awards at the University of Victoria. Unless otherwise stated, all awards are made annually by the Graduate Faculty Awards Committee to full-time graduate students on the basis of recommendations from the appropriate departments.

The UVic School of Nursing nominates students for the following two categories of awards:

  • Maximum 1 page list of publications, patents, conference presentations, creative works and/or performances, other significant awards or academic accomplishments.
  • An unofficial transcript of the most recent coursework must be attached
  • The GPA box will be completed by the Department

Please be advised that it will not be possible for students to receive payments in time for the September fee deadline.  The Graduate Awards Committee will meet in October to select and approve award recipients. Successful candidates will be notified directly by the Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS), early in November.
