Nursing Research Day | April 29, 2020

Nursing Research Day 2020 is a one-day scientific conference aimed at sharing and showcasing the research conducted at the University of Victoria School of Nursing, its college partners and the communities within which they are involved. It brings together students from both the undergraduate and graduate programs, instructors, professors, and community members.

Judy Darcy, B.C. Minister of Mental Health and Addictions, joined student nurses and faculty with UVic’s School of Nursing to share an announcement on campus April 4, 2018 to advance the scope of practice for all Nurse Practitioners in the province to prescribe therapies for those with opioid addiction.
