Course description

As a manager or supervisor, giving effective feedback to employees is one of the most important things you do to engage your staff, coach performance, and support success.  While the model for effective feedback is simple to learn, giving effective feedback requires managers and supervisors to be motivated, skilled, and courageous.  Completing this ½ day course will enable you to:

  • Identify opportunities to provide effective feedback to employees
  • Apply a simple framework to support successful feedback conversations
  • Use a strengths based approach to provide feedback that engages employees in finding solutions
  • Redirect defensive responses to focus on the mutual development of solutions

This course is for those who supervise only.  As a pre-requisite for this course you must have previous Interpersonal communications training, such as: iSkills, Giving & Receiving Feedback, Effective Listening etc.)
