Working remotely

This site is dedicated to resources that will help staff and leaders navigate remote work now and into the future.

Return to on-campus activities in the fall are guided by BC’s Restart: A Plan to Bring Us Back Together and the Return-to-Campus Guidelines for the post secondary sector. For current OHSE information and guidance on returning to campus please visit their Return to campus - Fall 2021 website. As part of return to campus planning, the university is introducing opportunities for staff to continue to work remotely on a part-time, trial basis.

Working Remotely Toolkit

Working remotely in a hybrid environment, with some staff on campus and some working remotely, will present a different set of opportunities and challenges than we experienced when the majority of teams were fully on campus or fully remote.  This toolkit is intended to support staff and supervisors to navigate this new dynamic and build thriving, connected, effective teams in this environment.

The toolkit is broken down in two sections, support for all staff and support for leaders.
