Pat Elemans is Assistant Dean of the Gustavson School of Business and oversees the school’s external relations team, which includes responsibility for development, community and corporate relations, communications and public relations, marketing, branding, and alumni relations. Additionally, she teaches in the MBA and Master of Global Business (MGB) programs.

Pat is the school's primary contact for the Gustavson international advisory board and with the business community. She plays a key role in organizing and serving as master of ceremonies for the school’s annual Distinguished Entrepreneur of the Year Award gala, a premier business event that connects the university and the business school with the global business community.

She has more than 20 years teaching, administrative and training experience having served as the Director of MBA Programs at UVic, Assistant Dean External, University of Lethbridge, Faculty of Management, and Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Programs where she oversaw the operations of the faculty’s campuses in Lethbridge, Calgary and Edmonton.

Prior to her administrative responsibilities, Pat taught full time in the University of Lethbridge Faculty of Management in the areas of managerial skill development, small business management, and introduction to management. She also taught Canadian studies at Hokkai-Gakuen University in Sapporo Japan.

Pat has published in the areas of Aboriginal Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management.
