Masters Certificate in Project Management wins Best Partnership Program award

November 23, 2017 – The Masters Certificate in Project Management (MCPM) program, created by the Schulich School of Business at York University and delivered by partners across Canada, including the University of Victoria’s Executive Programs, won the Best Partnership Program award at the 40th Annual Conference on Management, Executive and Professional Development Programs (CMED), held in Austin, Texas, from November 17-20.

The MCPM program was developed in 1997 to provide a fast track, in-depth approach to project management training. In 2002, UVic’s Executive Programs partnered with Schulich to begin delivering the program in Victoria and Vancouver.

Nine universities are currently involved in the partnership, offering the MCPM program in 11 cities and two languages across Canada. To date, over 12,500 participants around the country have graduated from the program, including over 1,100 from UVic.
