Vanier Scholar

Christine Fontaine, PhD graduate student in the Neuroscience graduate program, has been awarded the NSERC Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship for 2013-14 for her research in behavioural neuroscience.  The prestigious awards provide $50,000 annually for up to three years to world-class doctoral students conducting leading-edge research.  Vanier scholars balance outstanding academic and research achievements with genuine commitment to leadership and community engagement.

The Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships program is administered jointly by Canada's three research granting agencies: the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC), and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC).
