UVic playwrights new & established are in the spotlight at the Belfry Theatre SPARK Festival — both in the ongoing mini-plays and the free New Play Cabaret at 7pm Sunday, March 18, where you can hear work by current UVic Writing MFA candidates Janet Munsil & Elliott James, as well as 4th year BFA students Sarah Pitman & Alaina Baskerville-Bridges. Better still, these staged readings will be directed & performed by University of Victoria Phoenix Theatre undergrads, grad students & faculty!

Final mainstage production of the year now in previews at University of Victoria Phoenix Theatre: Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors gets an MTV reboot in this musical adaptation designed for the iTunes generation. $8 same-day preview tix March 14, opens March 15 & runs to March 24.
