Blue Bridge Repertory Theatre’s 10th anniversary season wraps up with a Fine Arts-heavy production of Stephen Sondheim’s musical classic "Sweeney Todd," July 31-Aug 12. https://bit.ly/2JNloTW Inspired by the gruesome but extraordinarily popular "Penny Dreadful" novels of the 19th century, Sondheim’s elegant pop opera has thrilled international audiences since its premiere in 1979. Directed by University of Victoria Phoenix Theatre professor Brian Richmond, with set and lighting by Phoenix prof Patrick Du Wors & costume designer + PhD candidate Graham McMonagle. Also starring Theatre alumnus Kholby Wardell + Music alumni Cassandra Lemoine - Soprano, Joe Lampron Dandonneau & current Music masters student Taylor Fawcett.
