Facilities Management is working with Aral Construction Ltd. to undertake renovations in Petch for Dr. Cameron’s BSL2 lab upgrade. Concrete coring is scheduled as part of this renovation work. Noise and some building vibration can be expected. Room 145 will be inaccessible to building occupants.
Shutdowns will also deactivate the fire sprinkler system on the first and second floors.
The fire alarm is expected to remain operational on Normal AC power. Building occupants should pull the fire pull stations and exit the building immediately in the event of a fire emergency during these shutdowns.
