Bear on campus

June 5, 2020, 9:40 p.m.

Campus Security Services report a black bear was sighted on the UVic campus on Friday, June 5 at about 6 a.m. and again later at 9 p.m. in the area around Finnerty Road. Saanich Police and Saanich Animal Control are attending. Please use caution in the area and report any sightings to Campus Security. Read about tips on bear safety.
