Dr. Walsh has a keen interest in how individuals acquire a sense of self-efficacy, and how these self-perceptions influence achievement and persistence. His research has appeared in the Journal of Educational Psychology, Journal of Learning Disabilities, Psychological Reports, Elementary School Journal, Educational Studies, Canadian Journal of Behavioural Sciences, Canadian Journal of Education, Canadian Journal of Counselling, Canadian Journal of Educational Exceptionality, Alberta Journal of Educational Research, and a number of British and American medical journals. He has also contributed chapters to edited books published by Sage, Pearson, and Springer-Verlag.
