Upcoming Masters of Education programs starting in 2021

The Department of Curriculum and Instruction is now accepting applications of interest for three Masters of Education programs starting in 2021: Math/Science cohort, Education Technology cohort, International cohort.

Masters of Education in Educational Technology
The Masters of Education in Educational Technology is designed for educators, learning support, and administrators, at the K12 or post-secondary level, who wish to develop their competencies to integrate technology to enhance and transform teaching and learning. The program emphasizes developing literacies with digital, networked, and open technologies as we explore the major shifts in education such as personalization, connectedness, openness, assessment, and access.

Masters of Education International Cohort
The Masters of Education in Curriculum Studies (International cohort) offers educators a dynamic opportunity to work together in a two-year cohort. The full-time program focuses on current issues and trends in education, and addresses a range of theories and principles that guide teaching and learning. Students will conclude their program by developing an original graduating project based on their specific area of interest.

Masters of Education in Math and Science (STEM)
The Masters of Education in Math and Science (STEM) brings experienced teachers together for a two-year cohort based program. It serves as a strong support for Math/Science teachers (early adolescence through to high school) who wish to engage in meaningful discussion about new directions for understanding and engaging in the teaching of Mathematics and the Sciences.
