Abstract:
This presentation consists of two parts. The first part will summarize the results of a gap analysis study on mass timber construction in Canada conducted in 2019. The second part will present the current mass timber research on structural performance at the University of Alberta under the NSERC Industrial Research Chair in Engineered Wood and Building Systems.
