Connect U volunteers in action

We need volunteers!

The 2019 Connect U conference will be held on May 22 and 23, 2019 and we are looking for enthusiastic people to make it a great event for all staff.

Volunteering for Connect U is an exciting and different way to get involved in your campus community, learn about the university, connect with your colleagues, and have fun.

We have many different volunteer opportunities available (see roles at the bottom of this page) to help the event run smoothly and successfully.

If you are interested and able to participate as a volunteer, please click on the button below, and complete your volunteer registration no later than April 12, 2019.

Volunteer for Connect U

Note: Volunteer time is treated as regular work hours for pay purposes.  Please obtain pre-approval from your Dean, Director or Department Head to participate for the shifts you have identified prior to submitting your registration.

What happens after registering?

You will receive an email confirmation of your shift(s) in April, after all of the volunteer requests have been received and shift schedules have been finalized.

A Volunteer Orientation Session will be scheduled for April (date and time TBC) when you will receive more information about your volunteer tasks.  Details regarding this session will be emailed to confirmed volunteers.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering!
