Mediated agreement reached between university and union

Following several months of negotiations and two days of mediation, a tentative collective agreement has been reached between the University of Victoria and CUPE 4163 (Component 3)  under the BC government’s Sustainable Services Negotiating Mandate. The tentative agreement, which will be in effect May 1, 2019 to April 30, 2022, is subject to ratification by the union and its members, and by the university’s Board of Governors.

No further details will be available until the agreement is ratified by the bargaining unit and the Board of Governors.
